Aldor shoulder enchant for damage casters is a straight +dmg enchant. Scryer, you get +spellcrit or +mp5. A shadow priest, like an affliction lock, primary damage comes from spells which cannot crit, but scale very well with straight +dmg.

Also, get Voren’thal’s Visions if Aldor from Arcanist Adyria (Note: though this quest gives Scryer reputation, Aldor & Scryer reputation is irrelevant given the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, so it’s still an excellent quest to do as Aldor because it’s an easy quest on the way).
This quest yields +250 reputation with the Scryers and -275 reputation with the Aldor per turn-in, and also provides +125 reputation with the Sha’tar if one is not yet honored with that faction. Cataclysm Alliance: Gilneas
