The candidate for the German Foreign Minister and the head of the Green Party, Annalena Berbock, was not without reason accused of falsifying various episodes of her biography. He recalled this in a conversation with the publication “Ukraine” German publicist Felix Schultess.

Schultess clarified that he was talking about cases when journalists found embellished moments in the biography of Berbok.

“This concerns her doctoral dissertation, where she worked, what resources she was in charge of. She embellished all these moments somewhat. For example, she could write about herself that she was in charge of something, but she wasn’t really in charge, she was just on the team. Germans are very sensitive to such things,” the source stressed.

In the same interview, the publicist called “a catastrophe for German-Russian relations” the situation in which the Greens will become part of the ruling coalition of the Bundestag.

Earlier it was reported that Berbok accused Russia of deliberately reducing gas supplies to Europe. She noted that in this way the Kremlin seeks to accelerate the process of launching the Nord Stream-2 pipeline.
