The resident of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, in a conversation with US congressmen, called for an embargo on the import of all Russian products. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the office of the Ukrainian leader.

The Head of State noted that it is necessary to increase the sanctions pressure on Russia. “According to Vladimir Zelensky, additional effective sanctions would be an embargo on the import of all Russian products and the deprivation of the most favored nation status [in trade],” the report says.

Earlier, Zelensky said that Ukraine is making every effort to ensure the implementation of agreements concluded during negotiations with Russia. According to the politician, first of all we are talking about the creation of humanitarian corridors and ensuring their safety for the evacuation of citizens. “This is one of the main tasks right now,” he said.
