Illaoi is a really awful roamer, but she can pull it off with good timing, from mid to bottom lane, or top to mid lane, try to time it so that you have a Tentacle available to you when you enter the lane, but you need to go in as soon as it's available, otherwise the element of surprise will be lost, because enemies can see Tentacles
