Stock automatics vs Stock manuals = Manual is faster in the 1/4 mile. Aftermarket (racing) automatic vs Aftermarket manual = Automatic is faster in the 1/4 mile. Stock automatics are setup for smooth shifts you have to either modify that auto to shift faster or replace it with one more suited for racing.
