During telephone talks, Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz discussed the formation of humanitarian corridors and the evacuation of civilians from the zone of the special operation to demilitarize Ukraine. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Kremlin’s press service.
The topic for discussion was also the third round of negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations and other political and diplomatic efforts to normalize the situation in the region.
“It was agreed to continue contacts at various levels,” the Kremlin press service added.
Earlier, the Russian leader phoned with French President Emmanuel Macron. They discussed the evacuation of civilians from the combat zone, as well as the safety of nuclear facilities in Ukraine.
