According to the Morning Consult company, the disapproval rating of US President Joe Biden has reached a record high of 56 percent, making him one of the most unpopular leaders of the country in history, according to RBC.
January 20 marked one year since Biden was elected President of the United States. Despite the fact that he scored a record number of votes during the 2021 elections, at the moment his rating is rapidly falling. The decline in confidence occurred against the background of rising unemployment, inflation and the poor state of the national health system during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Representatives of the private analytical company Morning Consult said that Biden’s overall approval rating among the US population is only 40 percent. Thus, he became one of the most unpopular presidents in the history of the country.
Biden remains popular among Democratic voters: 78 percent support him, but only 34 percent unconditionally. Among Republicans, the American president’s distrust rating is 91 percent.
