Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that he sees no connection between vaccination and the remote participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the G20 summit in Rome. His words are transmitted by RIA Novosti.
“As for vaccines and physical presence, I don’t see any connection,” Lavrov commented on the format of Putin’s participation at the summit.
The Foreign Minister also noted that the leaders of many states during their speeches at the summit supported Putin’s words regarding vaccines.
Earlier, Lavrov said that he spoke with US President Joe Biden in Rome. He clarified that the conversation took place over lunch the day before, on October 30.
