The head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky on the air of the Rossiya 24 TV channel confirmed that the third round of negotiations with Ukraine could take place on Monday, March 7. TASS writes about this.
According to him, the Ukrainian delegation has to coordinate actions with both President Vladimir Zelensky and the West. He called the Ukrainian negotiators people “quite dependent.”
“At the same time, they are all quite experienced people. And they are our partners in the negotiating group. They behave as cooperatively as possible, they do not arrange any demonstrative demarches. To be honest, you can work with these people in this format,” Slutsky said.
Earlier, a member of the Ukrainian delegation, adviser to the office of the President of the country, Mikhail Podolyak, said that another meeting with the Russian diplomatic mission could take place “in the next day or two.” “We are assessing, among other things, how humanitarian corridors are starting to work in order to make adjustments, if necessary, within the framework of the negotiation process,” he pointed out.
