1 May 2018 Once you are in Big Picture mode, go to the settings wheel, and under “Controller” click “Controller Settings”. Deselect “Guide Button Focuses Steam”. Now, when you want to turn off your controller, make sure that you have a DIFFERENT window aside from a steam window selected and you should not open big picture mode.
